Beautiful Guatemala in pictures

Beautiful Guatemala in pictures

Guatemala is one of the most beautiful and diverse countries I know. The cities might be dirty, loud, and not nice to look at, but the nature is proof that God created the earth in a perfect way.

If you are not convinced by words, see for yourself:

Guatemala has 37 volcanoes, and a few of them are still active, like the Volcán de Fuego, which is erupting and ejecting materials on a daily basis. Even though they are a constant threat to the people living close by, tourists and locals love to climb them, and they really are beautiful.

Many rivers, lakes, and lagoons can be found in Guatemala. During dry season (November to April), their water levels can drop very low, but they are always filled again in the rainy season. It's probably because of the many wetlands that Guatemala is green and rich in flora and fauna. Guatemala also has beaches on the Caribbean Sea (Atlantic Ocean), as well as on the Pacific Ocean.

It's fascinating that you can travel to such different climates in just a few hours. There are regions characterised by all combinations of cold, hot, dry, and humid weather, all with different landscapes and so much beautiful nature to look at.
